      Verdict

      Equilateral won a maiden in good style at Bath on his debut while Savalas scored at Thirsk before struggling in a valuable handicap here last time. May Girl scored in soft ground at Sandown and Black Friday was beaten only a length in a conditions race at Musselburgh. Militia and Fool For You debut for Richard Fahey’s yard but another newcomer in PRETTY BABY makes most appeal. She’s related to winner in France but it’s an entry in the Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes later in the month that takes the eye so the Haggas filly gets the vote.
