      YOUR SPIRIT debuted against more experienced opposition in a conditions' race at Beverley and finished a creditable third having been knocked out of her stride at the start. She gets the vote with normal progress and is preferred to the penalised Carlisle winner Mersea. Nashur will appreciate this shorter trip and can figure having attempted to make all when runner-up at Redcar while the newcomer Poppy Carrew may prove best of the rest.
