The in-form David O'Meara has won the last three and two of the winners, Regal Dan and ALEJANDRO, return for another crack. The latter is the better form and, though he hasn't won since that victory here in 2014, has slipped to a mark he can score from again. The trainer also runs Rex Imperator, who was receiving 2lb from Regal Dan when beating him narrowly at Doncaster in September. Normandy Barriere has improved dramatically since sent handicapping having won four of his last seven and been placed in the remainder. He's up a grade since scoring at Ascot last month and is 5lb higher but will be difficult to keep out of the frame. Big Time goes really well over this trip on fast ground and is on the same mark as when runner-up at Musselburgh on Saturday when Mystic Mirage was behind. Get Knotted has never run over this trip but was only caught in the dying strides over a mile at Ripon last week.
