Verdict

Fishable has been fairly consistent this year but jockey bookings suggest Dark Jedi will be the pick of Tim Easterby’s two runners. Platinumcard has been a revelation this season, winning four times. He ran well twice at Ayr last month and, though upped 2lb since, should give another good account here on going that suits. FAISAL (NAP) came up against the subsequent Cambridgeshire runner-up Anmaat when losing his unbeaten record at Doncaster. That run may have been needed and Hollie Doyle keeps faith with the Gosdens’ lightly-raced Golden Horn colt. Pythagoras ran in the Dante here in the spring and Aleas is eased in grade but Sinjaari usually finds at least one too good while Bay Bridge went up 15lb after winning at Newbury in May.
