Tagulu has been finding at least one too good however with Jamie Spencer aboard for the first time, we are prepared to give him another chance and he gets the nod ahead of Love Of Dubai and Miss Olivia. The selection has been beaten a length on his three starts to date, however he has shown a tendency to edge left late on so it may be that he would prefer the rain to fall and slightly easier ground. He takes a drop in trip today which could suit given his tendency to show some good early speed and he gets the vote. Excitement made a pleasing debut at Chester, especially as she had to run wide for most of the contest and given that, she did well to finish in fourth; expect a bold show today. Love Of Dubai is another who made a pleasing debut at Ripon and can make another journey to the North profitable as she should have come on for that effort. Miss Olivia is one at a fancier price who could run well as she could never get into the race last time out but she certainly has improvement to come, although that may be over further as a three-year-old. All in all, assuming that the exposed duo of Maccabeus and Upstanding don't find some sudden improvement, this looks a decent opportunity for Tugulu to get off the mark.
