      Verdict

      Well beaten in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot, Vona won a Listed race over course and distance before that and is not out of this. Katrine was also down the field in the Queen Mary but had won at Ripon earlier while Rosebride opened her account at the same track last month. Lawless Louis was well ahead of Tahoo when fourth at Musselburgh and RAINBOW MIST (NAP) was third in a conditions race at Beverley in May behind Prince Of Lir and The Last Lion. That form has worked out well with the former subsequently winning the Norfolk Stakes at Ascot and the latter landing a Listed event at Sandown so Ann Duffield’s colt could run a big race on the strength of that form.
