      Verdict

Bernard Llewellyn won this last year but this year's trio - Honour Promise, Sweet World and Petrify – are a modest bunch. Start Seven was very disappointing on his Turf debut at Salisbury but RING EYE is getting closer and finished ahead of Invincible Wish and Honour Promise over track and trip last month. John O’Shea’s charge is preferred to Taurian, who can race off the same mark as when short-headed at Windsor but was only third on Polytrack on Wednesday. Flutterbee is consistent but wouldn't want the ground to get any softer.
