Satchville Flyer easily won a Class 6 contest here 10 days ago and Callum Shepherd's claim almost negates his penalty. But he's been found wanting in this grade in the past and is worth taking on again. Quickaswecan made all at Newbury and is back in form so a 4lb rise shouldn't rule out another big run. Gilmer is much improved this year but couldn't land the four-timer at Windsor and both JAGANORY and Swendab have every chance of reversing earlier running over 6f here on today's terms – Chris Mason's four-year-old gets the nod.
Swendab (IRE) 6-1 (8-13) Tried to anticipate start, burst gate open and slowly away, always in rear, well behind from over 1f out, last of 6, 9 3/4l behind Silverrica (9-7) at Salisbury 5f hcp (4) sft in Jun.
Quickaswecan 9-2 (9-10) Made all, ridden inside final 2f, clear 1f out, stayed on well, won at Newbury 5f hcp (5) gs in Jun beating Diminutive (8-10) by 3 1/4l, 8 ran.
Gilmer (IRE) 7-2fav (9-9) Held up, towards rear, headway under pressure over 1f out, 4th and one pace inside final furlong, 4th of 11, 4 3/4l behind Secret Look (9-7) at Windsor 6f hcp (5) sft in Jun.
Ambitious Boy 16-1 (9-1) Slowly into stride, behind, kept on inside final furlong, not reach leaders, 6th of 12, 4 1/2l behind Oeil De Tigre (9-7) at Bath 6f hcp (5) gd in Jun.
Jaganory (IRE) 6-1 (8-13) Chased leaders, stayed alone on far rail over 2f out, ridden and weakened over 1f out, eased when no chance inside final furlong, last of 12, 21 1/4l behind Oeil De Tigre (9-7) at Bath 6f hcp (5) gd in Jun.
Satchville Flyer 14-1 (8-12) Tracked leader centre until merged with stand side group over 4f out, led overall over 1f out, soon hung right, ran on strongly, won at Chepstow 6f hcp (6) sft in Jun beating Consistant (9-13) by 6l, 14 ran.
Tally's Song 100-1 (8-4) Always towards rear, outpaced final 2f, 13th of 17, 7l behind Go Amber Go (8-10) at Bath 5f hcp (6) gd in Jul.
Louis Vee (IRE) 14-1 (9-5) Outpaced towards rear, never on terms, 10th of 12, 9 3/4l behind Gilmer (9-2) at Chepstow 5f hcp (6) sft in May.
