Verdict
David O'Meara has four entered here and two of them, Alfred Hutchinson and He's No Saint, are winners over the course and distance. The former could prove best of the quartet as he's been running better than his form figures suggest in similar company. BIG TIME went up 7lb for landing an Epsom claimer and was having his first start for Kevin Ryan when a very close third in a lucrative Goodwood handicap. He didn't quite get the run of the race that day and can make amends. Shady Mccoy was a couple of lengths behind in that latter event and has since run well at Newmarket so the form looks strong. Raising Sand is having a fine summer and gained his third victory in a classified stakes race over a mile at Ascot though a 6lb penalty may anchor him against this better opposition. Keystroke won the Lincoln Trial at Wolverhampton in March and wasn't suited by soft ground in his two subsequent starts. God Willing showed he was well up to this class when scoring at Newmarket and with just a 5lb rise to contend with he has to be on the shortlist.
