Last year's runner-up Dr Irv is 5lb lower but hasn't won since 2013 now. AMOUR DE NUIT makes more appeal given he beat the latter at Ripon earlier and ran well again in a Class 3 handicap at Newmarket last time. Lady Yeats also has something to find with the selection while Corona Borealis also has the beating of the latter and finished ahead The Kid when runner-up over 1m6f at Chelmsford. Hot Spice won an amateur's race at Doncaster recently but will find this tougher and Longshadow and Craggaknock make more appeal off their current marks.
