VALERIUS MAXIMUS can fulfil the promise shown on debut at Windsor. Paul Cole sends a lot of his better youngsters to the Knavesmire and considering he was 40/1 on debut it's fair to assume that there will be plenty of improvement to come. Wolf Slayer is the pick of these on official ratings but she hasn't done enough to warrant her rating and a bigger threat should be Forty Proof for whom the return to six furlongs is a positive. Blinkers needs to improve El Viento, whilst Rojo Boy and Bunce are more exposed but each is respected from their form earlier in the season.
