The Flying Ginger and Mr Carpenter are dual course winners, the latter from just three starts, though his stable have two other runners with last month's Ayr winner Highwaygrey arriving in good form. He had a bit in hand over Havana Party that day and should confirm the form but stablemate Forgivable couldn't handle Class 2 company at Beverley, though is only 2lb higher than when scoring over the trip at Redcar. Eeetee stepped up to this trip for the first time at Redcar and scored convincingly for which a 4lb rise doesn't look excessive. SHALADAR has never been this far and his two victories have been at a lower level but he only just failed to peg back Temper Trap over a mile at Leicester and looks likely to be suited by the extra.
