Kevin Ryan has won three of the last five of these and has a trio of entries. Kevin Stott was on board when Aleezdancer landed a Class 2 handicap at Ripon and also when Fast And Loose scored at Catterick. He sticks with the former though his mount is conceding weight to some in-form rivals including PINK CRYSTAL. The William Haggas-trained filly had her hat-trick bid foiled in a lucrative handicap over 5f here last month but she was impeded when starting her run. Azure Blue has been running well but a 4lb rise for landing a Class 4 handicap at Newmarket makes things difficult and Aphelios is up 6lb for landing a similar handicap at Carlisle. Lucky Man has only won on the all-weather but was beaten just a neck in a strong handicap over the track and trip in July.
