This could prove to be the time to side with Malapropism, who has taken his racing well this season and despite winning only once, he has put up some really creditable efforts in defeat. One of those was last time behind the useful filly Catmint at Sandown. Second twice in soft ground, Mick Channon's gelding will go in the ground and can concede weight all around. He rates the TEAMtalk selection. Zafine has largely disappointed after failing to live up to the promise of her Haydock debut. A recent drop has done little to help her and she is passed over again until she shows some signs of a return to form. Amanda's Lad has twice been a victim of Catmint, though he has not managed to improve after his promising second to that filly at Ripon in August. There are also question marks over his ability to handle the ground. Double Assembly has ability, but is unproven on the ground and the remainder of the field look nothing special.
