Verdict

Brigliadoro couldn’t quite hang on at Newbury last time and has gone up further in the weights for that effort so doesn’t appeal here. Despite going close in two of his last three outings, Horsted Keynes probably also needs the handicapper to relent, as does Baron Bolt. Archie has shown very little in two runs for his new yard and course regular Basil Berry looks thoroughly exposed so, in an open-looking handicap, the lightly-raced MOOTAHARER could be the answer. He has been well beaten at Goodwood and Ascot this season but has shown some early speed and may be more effective over this trip on soft going.
