Via Serendipity has only raced over this trip once before and didn’t appear to stay whereas Protected Guest is better over further, though was tailed off over 1m4f last time at Ascot along with Commonsensical. Brilliant Light has been running well in tough company since scoring at Ripon and he is preferred to Saeed bin Suroor’s other runner Marching Army but Arqoob should enjoy this galloping track given his good form this year at Sandown. ROGUE BEAR’s latest run at York can be ignored and he’d been an unlucky loser in all three starts previously this year, including over this trip on the Knavesmire. New Dimension has been gelded since last seen but is becoming expensive to follow.
