The course and distance form shown by Kind Emperor gives the six-year-old solid claims of landing the hat-trick and he has to be placed high on the short list. However, he is steadily creeping up the weights and will need to register a career best to go in again today. He is therefore passed over in favour of the lightly-weighted Lucefer, who is teamed up with the girl of the moment, Lisa Jones, for this return to racing at Yarmouth. Indian Warrior and Warden Warren also have to be considered, and should be involved in the shake-up. But the race may just be run to suit Lucefer if they go off too fast tonight and, Ms Jones, who is building a solid reputation as a good judge of pace, can pick them off late on Lucefer if the usual hold-up tactics are to be employed again.
