A batch of moderate performers and IBMAB is the token selection versus Whipperway and Ragsta. Linda Stubbs has targeted races of this nature with considerable success this term and were he able to reproduce his run at Newcastle; he has to be respected at what are likely to be decent odds. Whipperway takes a drop in grade having finished well beaten at Windsor. Her third to Water Biscuit at Goodwood represents some of the better form on offer although this seems a long time ago. Ragsta is now onto her tenth run of the season and appears not to be progressing. Vito Volterra was backed off the boards ahead of his Redcar victory and was claimed by Andy Haynes. Little Perisher won an Ascot maiden earlier in the season and this is some drop in sights having taken on listed opposition. Pearl Of Kent did not appear to stay a mile at Ffos Las and with the in-form Cathy Gannon aboard, she makes most appeal of the lighter weights. Ibmab is far from the most bombproof of selections but as he hails from an unfashionable yard, we may be able to get a bigger price than his form should allow.
