Sir Michael Stoute often uses Yarmouth as a stepping stone for some of his better juveniles and his entry Zalongo is a speculative choice here, and he can beat Ticki Tori and Muraabet. This well bred son of Zafonic is related to numerous winners including Posidonas and Carry The Flag. He will appreciate every yard of this trip and, if the market speaks in his favour he could be worth a small wager. Muraabet is trained by John Dunlop who's two-year-old's nearly always improve for there first outing, so a step up on his recent third at at Newmarket would see him go very close here. Ticki Tori also displayed plenty of ability first time up when finishing a close up third behind a well regarded Godolphin horse at York, and is entitled to plenty of respect.Mark Johnston's Barcardero and John Gosden's Paradise Mill are two other newcomers to watch out for in the betting, but Zalongo looks the part on paper and is a tentative choice.
