    Verdict

    Hajjam is a player if turning up but is engaged to contest the big Goodwood handicap on Saturday so his participation here may be in doubt. If he were to turn up, he would be the danger to SPANISH CITY. Roger Varian's charge has been very competitive in the season's best 7f all-aged handicaps and a win here would make it three from six for the season. Captain Frank is running well but finds winning hard while Los Camachos is consistent but this represents a step up in class. Robero keeps threatening to come good without doing so, although it's interesting to see Spencer booked for him today.
