There is very little to split General Nuisance and Keresforth on what they have shown to date but, as the former gets 5lb from his main rival tonight, he gets the nod in the hope that the first time blinkers do the trick for him. Tipsy Lillie is another to throw into the mix though as she has already proved herself capable in this grade and has shaped as if she is worth another try at this trip. By way of contrast, a first attempt at six furlongs could also work the oracle for Sapphire Princess as she has taken a while to get the hang of things but created a favourable impression in overcoming trouble in running to stay on well in defeat last time. However, a line though Glasson Lodge leaves her with plenty to find with General Nuisance, who has been knocking on the door lately and will rarely be presented with an easier opening.
