Not the most competitive of openers and one that can go to Miss Holly, with Kristineau, Celtic Romance and Scamp others who could go well. The selection took a Market Rasen maiden in May, and though she has not managed to get her nose in front in two outings since then, she has at least managed to hold that form. She seems to handle any ground, gets this trip and more and a repeat of those previous three efforts would be good enough to see her collect again. Kristineau has one or two fair bits of hurdling form aswell, notably when a staying on third to Flownaway at Carlisle in April. She has had plenty of action on the Flat this summer, and was not disgraced back over the sticks at Cartmel last time. A similar performance here would give her claims, and at least make the frame very likely. Debutante Celtic Romance is interesting, given that she is sent here by Mary Reveley. No better than modest on the level, it is likely that she will have been well schooled and a good run would be no surprise, while the lightly raced Scamp has some decent bumper form to her name and if she is straight enough after a break then she too can go well. The selection here though is Miss Holly.
