Verdict
Star Alliance wasn't beaten far when reappearing following a lengthy absence at Wolverhampton and is one for the short-list here along with Musselburgh winner Kingarrick. In-form CORN MAIDEN had Wasabi back in third when winning over a shorter trip here last month. The latter is 5lb better off but Mark Rimmer's filly can confirm the form and may be the one to beat again in a race that lacks any real strength-in-depth. Gucci D'oro started favourite on his return at Kempton so is presumably thought capable of better but he remains a maiden.
