A fillies' handicap so let the punter beware but from a long shortlist of Gabana, Bint Royal, Oh So Rosie, Classic Vision and Ranny, we will opt for Oh So Rosie. Looking at that shortlist. Gabana has been knocking at the door from today's mark and should do so again; Bint Royal won here over seven furlongs from a four-pound higher mark last July, Oh So Rosie is well handicapped based on the best of her juvenile form, and Classic Vision won at Leicester from a two-pound lower mark in June and, while she has been disappointing since, she can go well if in the mood. Ranny won from a mark of 46 at Brighton last summer so, from today's mark of 48 holds claims of sorts, while Tardis won from a six-pound higher mark than today as a juvenile and also cannot be ruled out of things on the basis of that logic. Of the others, Aesculus ran well from today's mark at Beverley last time, although it is slightly surprising to see her dropped in trip today, and Dutch Gold's half-sister, Chertsey, might fare better now on her handicap debut. As we say, it's competitive and, for the selection, having tracked the hatpin, we will opt for Oh So Rosie.
