Now that Itchington knows where the winners enclosure is he can follow up his recent victory at Nottingham by beating Sky Quest and Clarrisse. Marcus Tregoning's late developer got the better of Night Warrior after forcing the pace throughout and similar tactics today could prove beneficial. Clarisse hasn't really gone on to reach the expected heights after a comfortable victory first time out this season, but hasn't been far away against decent opposition recently, so must come into calculations. However Sky Quest rates as the main danger to the selection following a gallant second to Tight Squeeze last time out. The form has been franked by the third horse since and with ground and trip in his favour a good run is expected. However on this occasion Itchington is taken to come out on top.
