LIGHTNING APPROACH (NAP) outpointed more experienced rivals to make a winning debut at Windsor in late-May over 6f on ground she's due to face here and can follow up. She concedes weight all round but the James Tate yard has struck form of late with four winners from his last eight runners at the time of writing and his filly looks hard to beat. She should progress too from that pleasing start. Sun Magic has presumably had an issue or two to be making her debut now and the market should assist in assessing her chance, likewise La Equinata. Phil McEntee runs both Tia Dalma and Jacquelina who are preferred in that order but both of whom need to improve to trouble the selection.
Lightning Approach (IRE) 3-1 (8-13) Travelled strongly, close up, going best when pushed along 2f out, soon led, edged left inside final furlong, ran on, comfortably, won at Windsor 6f stks (5) gf in May beating Bear Profit (9-11) by 1 1/4l, 6 ran.
Jacquelina (IRE) 14-1 (8-13) In touch, pushed along halfway, some late progress, 4th of 7, 11l behind Whats In The Bag (9-4) at Windsor 5f stks (5) gf in Jun.
La Equinata Equiano filly out of La Fortunata.
Sun Magic (IRE) Invincible Spirit filly out of Amplifier.
Tia Dalma (IRE) 20-1 (9-2) Close up in rear, ridden over 1f out, kept on towards finish, 4th of 5, 1 3/4l behind Love Trophy Power (9-10) at Yarmouth 5f hcp (5) gf in Jul.
