    Verdict

A tight-looking finale can go to TINTO, who deserves a change of luck after narrow-margin defeats at Newmarket and Sandown. Yimou goes for the four-timer but a further 8lb hike in the weights may scuttle the bid. Ice Age can’t be ruled out off a lenient mark but hasn’t been quite at his best this year. Kinks may still be a few pounds too high and Polybius needs to find another gear, though still looks a better bet than Swiss Knight.
