Verdict

Protected Guest has won four of his six previous starts here and just came up short at Ascot earlier this month. Tom Queally keeps the partnership intact and George Margarson’s quirky top weight can go close again. Past Master won over 1m6f at Goodwood last month but is effective over this shorter trip while Eynhallow and Breath Caught are starting to look nicely treated. FLAMING MARVEL is having just his second start on Turf having shaped nicely at Wolverhampton following a break - there is untapped potential to exploit for James Fanshawe.
