      Verdict

This is no straightforward task for the unbeaten High End, even though the second has franked the form of his latest victory at Epsom. He’s not raced on ground this soft before whereas INTELLECT thrives on this surface. He needs forgiving a shocking effort at York last month but wasn’t punished in the closing stages. Opinionate was always travelling best when scoring at Salisbury 12 days ago but Eynhallow tries a new trip and couldn’t cope off this mark at Goodwood last time. Philip McBride has done well with Zack Mayo but the going and step up in class are legitimate concerns.
