Verdict
CHIEFDOM PRINCE makes plenty of appeal for a stable that never retains older horses unless expectations are considerable. The Dansili colt broke his maiden at Pontefract early in the campaign, the form of which reads well, before being far from disgraced on his Ascot handicap bow in May. Rested since, this looks an excellent point from which to launch the latter half of his season, especially as there should be plenty to come after just four career starts. His opponents do not appear in the best of form, but it will be interesting to see if Capone attracts support after an absence on his first run for David Nicholls. Seek The Fair Land is consistent but all wins have come on Polytrack, whilst Indian Emperor seems strangely subdued this term.
