NOVERTON and Crystal High have similar profiles in that they have followed up satisfactory if unspectacular debuts with much-improved efforts, both claiming the runner-up spot in respectable maiden company. If anything, the latter's performance behind Panoptic at Doncaster looks the stronger form, but Noverton has already displayed her ability to act on the soft at Salisbury and is awarded narrow preference. Our Gal failed to get involved in a Newmarket maiden latest but the general level of her form definitely puts her in here with acceptable claims. Mark Johnston's newcomer, Lifetime, has already been gelded and the market should indicate expectations surrounding the son of Shamardal.
