Hessian gets weight from most of the field and is selected to win. Corlough Mountain and Sky Masterson make it to the shortlist. Given a break since her last run, Michael Bell's daughter of Barathea had been running well without getting her head in front. The form of her penultimate run behind One Hour was franked on Saturday and if transferring her Southwell form to this slow surface, she can land these moderate spoils. Ask Yer Dad is yet to win in eight starts so is passed over again, so of more interest may be Neville Callaghan's Corlough Mountain. He hasn't hit any dizzy heights as of yet but should be monitored for signs of confidence in the betting returning from a break. Beautiful Madness is another for consideration, along with Sky Masterson who can be given one more chance after a run last time out that was too bad to be true. However, we have no qualms in returning to Hessian as the selection.
