In depth

Verdict

In a modest event, Dalkey Girl is selected ahead of Pretty Bonnie and Mac Dalia Dalkey Girl was not beaten far on her Lingfield debut and that form rates on a par with any other on show here, we feel, so she can go well today. Hucking Harmony failed to build on her two solid all-weather runs when tried on Turf last time but Pretty Bonnie comes right into things based on her Catterick third last time. The Magic Blanket has not been seen since showing some promise on his debut in the Brocklesby Stakes but would not have had to have improved much in order to get involved today. Finally, of the newcomers, Mac Dalia gets a mention but, for the selection, we will stick with Dalkey Girl.
