held up in touch, effort 2f out, weakened final furlong
chased leaders, ridden and weakened 2f out
made all, unchallenged, comfortable
chased winner throughout, ridden over 2f out, kept on, no chance with winner
HAY FEVER is given the vote in this maiden now back at this trip ahead of the Hightime Heroine while Albaseet could also figure if he can pick up from where he left off last season. The mile was too much of a stamina test for the selection last time has he made his seasonal reappearance and he should come on for that run. He was a bit of a near miss merchant last term but his run when only finding the Group class Penny's Gift too good last June sets the standard. Hightime Heroine has been in contention in all four starts so far and his run when placed two starts ago reads well but might just find one too good again Albaseet makes a belated seasonal debut and the fast ground may help him break a series of near misses if fit enough to do so. On the pick of his juvenile form Timeless Dream has a chance but in an intriguing race Hay Fever has the vote.
