Verdict

Top Tier gets the vote here with Danger Alley and Peggys Flower rated as the main dangers. The selection was a fair fifth in a better race than this last time and she sets the standard for the rest here. Danger Alley is a course and distance winner and is lightly-raced and this colt is another that has to be considered now that he is dropped in grade. Peggys Flower is dropped back in trip after a disappointing effort last time and she was held by Danger Alley here a couple of runs ago, but on these terms she might be capable of reversing those placings today. Caj would have claims on the pick of her form but this filly from the Mick Quinn yard was disappointing last time and that run would have to be forgiven if she were to be supported here. An interesting contest this, but for the winner we are happy to return to Top Tier.
