A maximum turnout for this low grade sprint, but with a high draw likely to prove advantageous, quite a few of these can be ruled out. Of those to have been favoured by the draw, the ex-Irish Bungaloo Band and Milton Bradley's pair Mammas F-C and Annijaz look the one's to concentrate on with the latter getting the vote. Now six, the mare looked just as good as ever on her seasonal reappearance at Bath, over an inadequate trip, but with that run (her first since last September) behind her, she is sure to strip sharper here, and with the plum draw next to the rail looks sure to take plenty of beating. Mammas F-C, without a win for nearly two years, is in danger of becoming seriously well handicapped. At home on a fast surface, she has conditions to suit. Of more interest is John Jenkins' Bungaloo Band. Still a maiden at six, she probably isn't one to go overboard about, but she showed promise on a couple of occasions in Ireland, over this trip and on a similar surface to what she will encounter today. Of the track from last July until making her racecourse debut in this country last month, she should be somewhere near straight now, after a couple of outings. She is well treated on the best of her Irish form and it would come as no surprise if she was to put in an improved effort.
