With four of the runners scraping in on the ceiling of 65, this looks to be quite a competitive contest. Ginger Ice, High Finance, Kindlelight Debut and Spinning Dove are the four in question, but with the latter three getting the fillies allowance the finish could be fought out by them, with Kindlelight Debut getting the nod. Dean Ivory's filly is sure to be better for her outing at Nottingham, where she shaped with plenty of promise in a big field, despite having to launch her challenge out widest of all. She looks to have less to do in this and can prove too strong for High Finance, who is making her debut on turf. John Hills' filly proved well suited by the faster surface at Lingfield when winning her maiden there. She should be at home on the fast ground here and could well be open to some improvement. Connections of Spinning Dove will be hoping from a bold show from Ouef La Neige in the previous race as she was only a head behind her at Leicester. However, this shorter trip will suit her much better than the stiff mile at Leicester and she can provide the biggest threat, despite her stable not being in the best of form.
