        Verdict

        GAS MONKEY (NAP) was making his handicap debut when scoring over a mile at Kempton in April and was only beaten a length over the same trip here in June. He was very unlucky in-running when tackling this trip at Nottingham last time and, as he's one of the few here with scope, he can gain compensation. Debatable has shown some potential and doesn't look badly treated while the superbly-bred Cottingham should win races though possibly over further. Apple Anni has shown all her best form on testing ground so any rain would aid her cause while Elusive Show has produced his two best performances on Tapeta at Wolverhampton.
