Crown Ridge hasn't managed to get his head in front this year but is usually thereabouts, though was beaten in a seller over 1m here earlier in the month. Preference, therefore, is for GOLDEN COMPASS who was successful over 6f here last month before finishing a fair third at Newmarket. She races off the same mark today and, as she's already proved he stays this longer trip, should prove hard to beat. Five Hearts is still unexposed but has to improve on what she's shown so far, while Slatey Hen and Spirit Of Oakdale have both lost their way. The remainder are easy to discount.
