      Verdict

      Whiskey Junction won this a year ago, one of his eight career victories, and his last. He's 5lb lower here so must be on the short-list for a repeat. Novalist was in fine form around this time a year ago where his victories included one here. He shot up the weights as a consequence but his subsequent efforts have been moderate which is why he's back on an attractive mark. IMAGINARY DIVA had been running well before a poor effort here early last month. She's had a break to freshen her up and this looks within her capabilities. Burnt Cream ran poorly at Brighton last week but had done much better on her previous run there and a repeat would see her in the firing-line.
