A competitive handicap here but with little in the way of recent form to go on making a selection is difficult but it goes to LOVELY THOUGHT who can get the better of Billy Beetroot and King Of Defence. The selection was a winner here at the last time of asking. That was however back in October of last year. She hadn't shown much in maidens earlier that year, but the first time blinkers helped her to concentrate and under the same conditions today the filly should be capable of holding off the rest. American born Billy Beetroot made a return to action earlier this month and has been quite impressive. Third at the last time of asking he ought to come on for that run and handicap should come his way soon. He should prove to be the selection closest rival but has struggled in the past when up against better handicapped rivals and that is likely to be the case here. King Of Defence should benefit from the high draw here and although returning from a long break should find himself thereabouts if the race is run to suit. Imaginary Diva has been a little disappointing since returning to the track. Her form last term was good but she will need to improve if to return to winning ways so we can look no further here than Lovely Thought.
