Verdict

Point of View ran in the King George V Stakes at Royal Ascot but failed to handle the soft ground and was well beaten. He's better than that and has been given plenty of time to recover. Rockspirit won over 1m2f here last month but an earlier second over this trip at Newmarket hasn't really worked out. Diamond Geyser has become a little disappointing while You're Hired steps up in distance again, though has Ryan Moore in the saddle for the first time. HADDAJAH has only won on Polytrack so far and was tailed off when attempting 1m4f at Newmarket in June. But heavy going was a legitimate excuse that day as, being by Sea The Stars, this trip shouldn't be a problem.
