Archimedes has to be of interest in first-time headgear with Jamie Spencer booked but does still have to improve on efforts to date and LANGHAM is preferred on just a fifth career start. She's steadily descending in trip and this first sortie over the minimum distance looks a wise move as it was only in the final furlong that she was collared last time at Kempton over six. Lady Nayef could prove interesting in a first-time visor but the consistent profiles of both Jack The Laird and Justice Lady make more appeal, with the former nominated as the main danger to the selection. He's been in excellent form in sprint handicaps this season and did well to finish as close as he did when runner-up in a large-field handicap at Bath last time after not receiving the clearest of passages through the contest.
