Mc Diamond wasn't beaten at all far by Captain Ryan in a Bath handicap at this level last time but his career record of 0-17 has to be a concern whilst the consistent Commanche has only managed one visit to the winner's circle since October 2013. Tasaaboq is another with a consistent profile but who finds winning difficult as her 1-32 record demonstrates but any of the aforementioned could prove good enough in a modest contest. Plantation is the one to note in the market as he makes his debut for sprint king Robert Cowell, having shown little in four starts in maiden company for Roger Varian. REINFORCED is another who showed little or nothing as a 2-y-o but looked much more like it on his reappearance when a close second in a Redcar handicap. He's on a decent mark for a yard that only have the occasional runner here.
