Verdict

Freight Train is sent on the long journey from Middleham and is back on the same mark as when last successful at Redcar. Spa's Dancer has been gradually dropping to a fair mark though it's three years since he last won. Sbraase has done all of his winning at Wolverhampton but Thecornishbarron looked ready to win soon before a moderate run at Kempton. Lord George landed a Wolverhampton maiden in October and was staying on stoutly on his reappearance so he'll be difficult to beat but the vote goes to SHAHBAR. Marco Botti's charge has been well beaten in both starts this season though in much better races than this and if returning to the form shown when a close third at Newcastle in August he could spring a surprise.
