Verdict
A tricky puzzle to solve as several of these come here in good form. The nine-year-old Takitwo has already won at Folkestone and Salisbury this year but carries a penalty for his latest success while Spirit Of Gondree is 4lb higher than when scoring on the Polytrack. FIRST CLASS has run two solid races over C&D on fast ground since returning from a break and looks to have the plum draw today. He can get back to winning ways though Intomist hinted at a revival here last month and shouldn't be far away again. The bottom weight is preferred to maidens Anton Chigurh and Excellent Jem while course specialist Rough Rock, Main Beach, Spin Again and My Own Way Home all came unstuck last time and may be back in the handicapper's grip.
