Verdict
Interesting newcomers galore in this second division of the maiden and the tentative vote goes to Pivotal Queen ahead of Mayaar, Shaker, Siyasa and Nahoodh. The selection's pedigree suggests that she should be at home on the ground and whilst her low draw may not be ideal, the more interesting newcomers are drawn low and that may be where the action unfolds. The stable are not renowned for their debut winners but they have scored with one this season and if the market speaks in her favour, she may be worth siding with. Siyasa, a Godolphin newcomer is one to note but may be too short merely because of connections, as may be Floristry and Mayaar. Nahoodh looks the best of the Channon duo on jockey bookings and this French-bred filly is of interest, whilst Shaker represents a powerful trainer and jockey combo and having cost 155,000 euros, a good debut could be in the offing. The market will help guide and may be worth taking note of, however Pivotal Queen is fancied to land the spoils.
