Giogiobbo won off a higher mark in this grade last summer but he’s been struggling in lesser company lately. Mighty Gurkha won a Group 3 on Polytrack as a two-year-old but he’s never won on this surface. Only 2lb higher than when an easy winner over course and distance last year, MEDIA GUEST again showed a liking for this track when runner-up to the in-form Spangled Mac two weeks ago and can go one better today, though it’s only a matter of time before The Green Man gets his head in front. Neptune Legend is almost back on a winning mark and adds to the interest.
