In depth

Verdict

HERESMAX was having his first outing for just over a year when runner-up in one of these events at Catterick. This longer trip will suit Micky Hammond’s charge and he gets the vote to go one better. King Charles popped up under Jessica Llewellyn at Wolverhampton in June but was well beaten last time while Termonator has returned a beaten favourite the last twice since finishing second at Newcastle.
