In depth

Verdict

MIRROR CITY has an absence to overcome but romped home in a maiden race at Kempton in August last year and the Godolphin filly can start making up for lost time by landing this. Several of the opposition have something to prove now having won maiden races but failed to figure on their handicap debuts. De Veer Cliffs and Dot Green were well beaten in this grade and drop back in distance but Malmostosa makes more appeal dropping down in class. Kylla Instinct won a handicap at Wolverhampton and can effectively race off a lower mark with an apprentice’s allowance taken into account and Pernickety makes her handicap debut.
